I took a look at land sales in this region expecting to see a drop in land purchases due to escalation of costs to build but so far, sales are heading up slowly but surely and inventory is heading down. Because its a long permitting wait before you can actually hammer a nail, perhaps home builder buyers are planning on waiting out the shortages in a "this too shall pass" methodology. The location in between Scotts Flat Lake and downtown Nevada City pretty much takes care of easy access to a lot of cool stuff in this region. Scotts Flat is my personal favorite lake. Favorites Over 700K Pretty newer home from 1994 on 10 acres with superior views and a large private pond. Extra large shop, fenced and cross fenced for horses. From the exterior you might think this home to be dark but quite the contrary. Inside is light and bright with a soft lighter color palette than we often see in this style home. I love the kitchen!
